WHAT CAN YOUR PORTLAND LOOK LIKE?

With Portland’s continued growth and development, it is a critical time to consider HOW the city will mature and flourish. This competition hopes to inspire future planning and development by realizing visionary ideas for a “Complete City” that came directly from its citizens.

Use the Collected Maps

In 2017, PSA used blank maps of Portland, Maine to collect comments and ideas about and for the city. Ideas to keep and preserve what we love, to talk about what we dislike, and to find and imagine the opportunities in our built environment. With over 300 submissions, the maps are honest, wildly imaginative, and incredibly inspiring.

Show us your vision

PSA wants you to use these maps as inspiration to show us what Portland can look like. Enter up to (4) 11” x 17” images per submission, that spark and inspire HOW Portland can develop and thrive as a “Complete City.” Each submission must reference at least one of the maps collected to date.
